Meet Mr. Mikal Grass
Experienced and deeply knowledgeable, Mr. Grass brings his inquisitiveness and desire to to help students learn and flourish at YTCTE. State-certified in Social Studies for grades 5-12, Mr. Grass also holds a BA in Economics from University of Chicago and a JD from the University of Florida College of Law and has practiced adoption law for 25 years. Mr. Grass has previously taught a variety of subjects in public, charter, and private schools including Law, History and Economics.
What I Do
I teach RMS Humanities which combines English Language Arts with Social Studies.
How I Make a Difference at YTCTE
I encourage my students to ask focused questions and to think on their feet. I am always available to the students and parents, even after school hours, for any question or concern.
My Favorite Part about What I Do
Seeing my students’ growth is the best part of being their teacher.
