We encourage you to visit us during your family’s search for the right school. Seeing us in action is the best way to learn about our Yeshiva! During your visit, you’ll meet our expert administrators and passionate, engaging rebbeim, moros and teachers. You’ll also see all the exciting things happening in our classrooms.

Apply online

Applications are submitted online through our parent portal. Below is a list of the division-specific documents you’ll need during the application process. If you don’t have these documents at the moment, don’t worry. You can save your application and come back to it later. Create an account (new families go here) or log in to your existing account (existing families go here) to start an application.
  • Application Fee : $100 (New students only)
  • Submit a letter of recommendation.
  • Application Fee: $100 (New students and 6th grade applicants)
  • Submit 2 years of report cards and 2 years of standardized testing results
  • Submit 2 letters of recommendation- one from a Judaic teacher and one from a secular studies teacher
  • Application Fee: $100 (New students only)
  • Submit 2 years of report cards and 2 years of standardized testing results
  • Submit 2 letters of recommendation. One from a secular teacher and one from a Judaic teacher.
  • Application Fee: $150 (New students and all 9th grade applicants).
  • Submit 2 years of report cards and 2 years of standardized testing results.
  • Submit 2 letters of recommendation. One from a secular teacher and one from a Judaic teacher.
  • 1-page handwritten essay titled ‘My Goals in Life’.
  • Application Fee: $0
  • There are no documents required during the application process

Complete Division-Specific Requirements

Once your application is submitted, you’ll receive an email confirmation. Mrs. Julia Zaidenberg from our Admission Office will contact you within 1-3 school days to walk you through the next steps. (Early Childhood applicants: You’ll receive a call from Mrs. Bryna Roth).

Please see the division-specific requirements below.
  • Once your application has been processed, you’ll receive a call from Mrs. Bryna Roth in our Esformes Early Childhood Center Admission Office. Mrs. Roth will schedule a ‘Getting to Know You’ visit with Mrs. Levine, our Early Childhood Division Director, to meet your child.
1) Screening with Dr. Samantha Carella (fee applies*)
We strive to meet the needs of all our students at YTCTE. As part of our application process, each applicant to our elementary school division meets with Dr. Samantha Carella, a Pediatric Psychologist, for an academic evaluation (approximately $200). This helps ensure the best educational experience for your child.

After you’ve submitted your child’s application, please contact Dr. Carella’s office at (305) 936-1002 to schedule your child’s meeting.

2) Interview with our Principal
3) ACE Resource evaluation (if needed*)
Every child learns at their own unique pace. If your child needs a little extra attention to acquire the tools and skills they need to thrive in the classroom, we may have your family meet with our Academic Coaching and Enrichment (ACE) Resource Program Director.

  • Schedule an interview with Rabbi Keir (if not completed before the application).

Decision Notification

Our admission team will share your child’s application with the principal(s) and notify you of the decision as follows:

Esformes Early Childhood Center
Within one week of completing division-specific requirements
Klurman Elementary School
Within one week of completing division-specific requirements
Rohr Middle School
Mid-March
Dr. Abe Chames High School
End of February
Bais Medrash Zichron Ezra
Within one week of completing division-specific requirements

Register & Apply for Financial Aid

Once your child has been accepted into YTCTE, you can register them on the parent portal. Registration typically opens in December. Your child’s spot at YTCTE will be reserved after their registration fee is paid.

During the registration process, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for financial aid.
