Established in 1984, Yeshiva Toras Chaim Toras Emes was one of the first Yeshivos to open its doors to the frum community of South Florida. Now one of the largest, most established Yeshivos outside of the tristate area, YTCTE is proud to serve the evolving needs of South Florida’s growing Jewish community.
Our hard-working Rebbeim spend countless hours each day preparing, teaching and guiding our children. But it doesn’t end there. After a long day in the classroom, over 40 Rebbeim return to the Bais Medrash, to the Kollel Mechanchim Zichron Yitzchok Isaac, to focus on their own personal limud Torah, translating into more passion and commitment for their talmidim. When a Rebbe’s Torah learning is enhanced, our talmidim become the direct beneficiaries, and when Torah learning is elevated, our entire community is uplifted.
Meet Our Rosh Kollel
Rabbi Yaakov Kier
Rabbi Yaakov Kier, a tremendous talmid chochom, brings years of experience in limud Torah, teaching and community outreach to the table. Under his dynamic leadership, the Kollel has grown tremendously since its founding.
Rabbi Kier’s impressive background—from receiving semicha from Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim, to being a Rebbi for many years in Yeshiva Tiferes Yisroel in Brooklyn, and here at YTCTE-allows him to relate to learners of all ages.
