Meet Mrs. Heather Hoffman
Thoughtful, giving and patient, Mrs. Hoffman is an expert at helping children become better readers. She builds strong relationships with each one of her students, providing them with the support and individualized attention they need to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
What I do
I give my students confidence by helping them build a strong foundation in reading. I help them improve their reading skills, phonemic awareness, fluency and comprehension.
How I make a difference at YTCTE
I assess each one of my students’ personalities, needs, strengths and weaknesses and develop an approach that will work best for them.
My favorite part about what I do
Giving my students the support and tools they need to become stronger readers. Reading is a skill they’ll need and use for the rest of their lives!
Parting Words
I love seeing how so many of my students have grown as readers and individuals, with many of them graduating out of the ACE program.
