Meet Mrs. Esty Fladen
Mrs. Esty Fladen joined YTCTE as a kindergarten Morah where she quickly became known for her knowledge and skills, particularly in kriyah and middos development. She became our kindergarten Kodesh team leader, where she supported meaningful enhancements to the curriculum and has been the driving force behind our world-class Kriyah program. After six years of passionately infusing her students with a love for Yiddishkeit she assumed her current role as Limudei Kodesh Chair.
What I do
I try to make our rich history come alive for students in the EECC. I teach kindergarten Limudei Kodesh, plan and coordinate the Limudei Kodesh curriculum for the preschool and run our kriyah program. I focus on continuously strengthening the curriculum with exciting new content focusing on middos, mitzvos and all things ruchniyus,
How I make a difference at YTCTE
I helped upgrade our EECC kriyah program and added enriching middos and Gedolim units to our curriculum. The material not only helps expand the children’s young minds giving them each new goals, it also imbues them with an excitement and love for Yiddishkeit.
My favorite part about what I do
The relationships that blossom as I get to know each child is the most rewarding part of my job. It is fascinating to learn about their interests and what motivates them and watch them grow and accomplish in their skills and yediyos as the year progresses.
Parting Words
My family moved here to join the North Miami Beach Kollel, and I was excited by the opportunity to join the YTCTE staff. It’s such a happy place. Everyone strives to do their best and is so proud to be part of the team.
