Meet Rabbi Mayer Porter
Rabbi Porter originally moved to North Miami Beach from Lakewood to join Kollel Zichron Michel of NMB before becoming a Rebbe in our KES division. Patient, calm, and focused, he is the ideal Rebbe for talmidim at this important stage.
What I do
I teach fifth grade boys all their Limudei Kodesh classes, culminating in their Haschalas Gemara. I focus on connecting with each talmid individually to ensure their success in learning.
How I make a difference at YTCTE
I set my boys on the path to becoming true Talmidei Chachomim as they “join the ranks” and begin to learn Gemara.
My favorite part about what I do
Seeing a boy smile when he realizes what he can accomplish is a simcha in its own right. I love having the opportunity to impact and uplift my talmidim.
