Meet Mrs. Nechama Riesel
Mrs. Riesel is known for her ability to understand a situation, quickly figure out what needs to be done and efficiently get it done. She has capably worked in various capacities for the Yeshiva and has volunteered to run the Annual Book Fair for many years. Currently, she serves as the Director of Transportation while simultaneously managing the Title 1 data and binding for the South Campus. Mrs. Riesel’s witty personality and generous heart make her an asset to the Yeshiva.
What I do
My primary role is the Director of Transportation managing the buses that transport the majority of our students to and from Yeshiva each day. This includes coordinating bus routes, working with the bus companies, drivers and monitors and communicating with parents throughout the year.
How I make a difference at YTCTE
My goal is to make busing as smooth as possible so students can start their day off right, get to school on time and arrive home safely and timely. It is a big operation, but I am happy to do whatever I can (plus more!) to help our students and their parents.
My favorite part about what I do
I love greeting the children in the morning as bus after bus drops off happy, fresh students each day.
Parting Words
Although we try to keep things as smooth and as timely as possible, not everything is always in our control. When bumps come up, we all need to take a breath and…keep smiling!
