Meet Rabbi Zev Roth
A natural at operational efficiency, Rabbi Roth has elevated ‘problem solving’ to ‘art form.’ He thrives under pressure, calmly meeting the demands that arise while running five divisions across two campuses.
What I do
It might be easier if I listed what I don’t do! The short answer is that I provide a safe, clean, well-maintained campus environment where everyone can shteig.
The long answer is ‘pretty much everything.’ In addition to ensuring all nine buildings on our two campuses are clean and safe, I oversee new building projects, manage logistics for special events, manage our transportation contracts, coordinate the hot lunch menu and publish the school calendar. I also manage our security, janitorial and maintenance staff. And that’s just scratching the surface!
How I make a difference at YTCTE
Students, staff and parents know I have their back when it comes to campus maintenance, cleanliness, and all-around problem solving. If it can be done, I’ll get it done.
My favorite part about what I do
Never knowing what the day will bring! I enjoy coordinating all the different personalities, divisions, roles, people, interests, etc. so that things run as seamlessly as possible.
The reason I joined YTCTE is simple. It’s a great place to work, with a great purpose, and I’m doing things I love to do. Coming onboard was a no-brainer!
