Meet Rabbi Shmuel Chait
Creative, tech savvy and trained in an impressive array of teaching methodologies, Rabbi Chait is always looking for new ways to make lessons ‘click’ for each one of his students. He uses technology to make learning fun and is quick to tailor his lessons to students’ individual needs.
What I do
In the morning, I teach Grade 6 Limudei Kodesh. In the afternoon, I work with small groups of Grade 1-5 students in our ACE Resource Room.
How I make a difference at YTCTE
I create an environment where students want to learn and grow. Where they receive exactly what they need, when they need it.
My favorite part about what I do
Watching my students grow, while enjoying the learning process, is so rewarding. It’s like watching a butterfly emerge from its cocoon!
I attended YTCTE and was always inspired by their approach. They understand the changing needs of today's children. Instead of doing something because ‘that’s the way things have always been done,’ they make decisions based on what’s best for the children and families we serve. That’s why I decided to move back to Miami, after I got married and started a family. I wanted to teach where I had learned.
