Meet Rabbi Moree Igvi
A student of Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto and rav of the Shuva Israel in Fort Lauderdale, Rabbi Igvi has been part of the world of chinuch for many years.
What I do
In addition to guiding the Sephardi minyan, I inspire students with incentives and goals so that tefilla becomes an essential part of their day, making davening a positive and uplifting experience.
How I make a difference at YTCTE
It is extremely rewarding to be able to familiarize Sephardi students with their rich history and teach them about their communal roots.
My favorite part about what I do
I enjoy everything that I do at YTCTE but there is nothing quite like making davening come alive for kids who have trouble connecting with their tefilla.
Parting Words
As a teacher, so much of what we do is about what we say, but children learn even more from our actions. I hope to set a positive example for my students to follow.
