Rabbi Harayl Askotzky

Meet Rabbi Harayl Askotzky

Rabbi Askotzky is one of those rare individuals who makes wearing a million hats look easy. It might be due to his endless supply of good natured amiability, or his incredible work ethic. He works directly with the Roshei HaYeshiva and takes on anything that’s handed to him with a smile, including the hard jobs that no one knows how to handle.

What I do

I manage and improve the systems that help run the yeshiva. There’s a lot that goes into that. I manage and oversee our admission office, collections teams, IT department, HR, operational staff and work with our tuition committee. I also oversee the government funding and grants.

How I make a difference at YTCTE

Improving systems doesn’t happen in a vacuum. I keep things orderly so the yeshiva can operate efficiently, and a big part of that is getting everyone else on board with our processes and any changes that need to happen.

My favorite part about what I do

The great thing about optimizing operations in a complex organization is there are always opportunities to make them better. I enjoy finding new ways to continuously improve our financial and business systems.

Parting Words

I’m proud of the incredible progress we’ve made. Clearly the changes we’re implementing are working!
