Meet Rabbi Binyomin Luban
Arguably one of North Miami Beach’s best kept secrets, Rabbi Luban is a brilliant talmid chacham who is respected by all who meet him. So treasured is he by his talmidim around the globe, that his relocation to Miami sparked enormous growth in Bais Medrash Zichron Ezra. Rabbi Luban received Semicha from Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim and joined YTCTE after a 14-year tenure as Rosh HaYeshiva in Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim Jerusalem.
What I do
Everything! As one of the Yeshiva’s three Roshei HaYeshivos, I’m directly involved in all the important decisions about the institution and its day-to-day operations. I also give shiur in our bais medrash program, and do my best to make time to learn one-on-one with anyone who wants to – whether it’s a bochur or community member.
How I make a difference at YTCTE
I make it a priority to spend time with every bochur and connect with every bochur. The primary lesson I hope they’ll walk away with is that with perseverance, comes results.

Connecting with our bochurim and community members! It’s so rewarding to support and guide those seeking to grow in Torah and mussar.
Parting Words
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to develop close relationships with many Gedolim here and in Eretz Yisroel. I’ve also had the special zechus to author seforim, like the Chiddushei HaLev on the teachings of my Rebbe, HaRav Henach Leibowitz zt”l. I emphasize the importance of these relationships to my own talmidim, so they can also benefit from building similar kesharim.
