Meet Mrs. Malka Oropesa
Mrs. Oropesa makes the office a source of light for everyone who comes in. She’s resourceful and kind, with the perfect mix of organizational know-how and interpersonal skills.
What I do
I’m a surrogate mom for the students! I also handle a variety of administrative tasks, so the office stays organized.
How I make a difference at YTCTE
I’m often one of the first faces a student, parent or staff member sees when they come into the office. I set the tone for their experience and I’m so proud to represent the Yeshiva and its goal to the best of my abilities.
My favorite part about what I do
I get the opportunity to make students feel reassured that in the absence of their family, I’ll be able to help them out. It’s the best feeling!
Parting Words
I love helping others and putting them at ease. It’s always a pleasure to answer questions or direct someone to the resources they need.
