Meet Mr. Daniel Stahl
Part chef, part math whiz, Mr. Stahl began his career as a math, physics and mechanical engineering instructor. He started cooking on the side for the boys, but loved it so much that he eventually became a full-time cook. The rest is (delicious) history. Did we mention he’s also fluent in 5 languages?
What I do
I cook delicious, home-style meals for the students and rebbeim at the high school and Bais Medrash. Sometimes I make the same meal multiple ways, just to ensure everyone’s dietary needs and taste preferences are met.
How I make a difference at YTCTE
Ein kemach ein Torah. I take pride in providing our students and rebbeim with tasty, nutritious meals that help make their days at YTCTE productive. If they’re fed well, they’ll learn well!
My favorite part about what I do
I love trying new recipes and getting the students’ thoughts on them. The best of all are the ‘Thank Yous’ from my ‘diners’ as they enjoy their food.
The thing that drives me is a deep desire to be helpful to others. I started teaching math because I wanted to feed my students’ minds and help them learn about a subject that I love. Now I feed their stomachs, so their minds can accomplish anything!
