New EECC Playground Ribbon-Cutting at Yeshiva Toras Chaim Toras Emes

A smile can speak volumes. Seeing 226 smiles is priceless. Those who attended the Yeshiva Toras Chaim Toras Emes Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Early Childhood’s brand new playground complex will certainly agree. On Tuesday, January 8, friends and supporters came to join YTCTE as it celebrated the completion of its highly anticipated beautiful new state-of-the-art playground and surrounding playfield.

This exciting project, which was overseen by Mrs. Chava Mann and Ms. Esty Kopel and coordinated by Rabbi Zev Roth, was made possible thanks to the generosity of the Gruss Life Monument Funds and other generous benefactors of the Yeshiva. After months of planning, designing and building, the 226 EECC students are thrilled to be able to play in this fun and engaging playground. Their smiles speak for themselves.

At the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Rabbi Yisroel Y. Niman, Rosh HaYeshiva, Rabbi Kalman Bauman, Principal, and Mrs. Talia Levine, EECC Director addressed the crowd thanking everyone for their help in turning this dream into an amazing reality. They also acknowledged the presence of the Weber family who had generously donated the previous playground, “The Pirate Ship,” in memory of their beloved daughter Charlie Weber a”h. The pirate ship was enjoyed by hundreds of children for over 15 years and will be remembered with much fondness.

Also in attendance were representatives from the Gruss Life Monument Funds. They were delighted to receive beautiful handwritten thank you signs made by the preschool students, as well as photos of the children enjoying the playground presented by the students themselves.  Mr. Jason Cury, President of Gruss also spoke to the crowd as he, and all attendees, admired the attractive new playground. YTCTE is extremely grateful to Gruss for their ongoing generosity and partnership with the Yeshiva, not only with this new EECC playground, but also recently with the Klurman Elementary School girls division playground as well as numerous other projects and programs throughout the years.

Yeshiva Toras Chaim Toras Emes is proud to continue its mission to produce true bnei and bnos Torah by imbuing each student with a lifelong thirst for Torah learning, to enable them to recognize the depth and richness of their Jewish heritage and to provide them with the tools they need to succeed today. Serving the diverse needs of South Florida’s Orthodox Jewish community, YTCTE (Jewish preschool Miami) proudly carries on the rich tradition of Jewish religious education while simultaneously equipping our students with an outstanding secular education. This new playground is the latest example of the Yeshiva’s ongoing commitment, with the help of its many friends and supporters, to continue to enhance and upgrade the experiences of each of its 975 students. The many smiles that abound, on the playground and around the school, are indicative of YTCTE’s success.

Never miss a moment.
